Ou seja, a regress\u00e3o log\u00edstica \u00e9 utilizada para modelar a probabilidade de uma vari\u00e1vel categ\u00f3rica assumir um determinado valor com base nas vari\u00e1veis independentes.<\/p>\n<p> O modelo de regress\u00e3o log\u00edstica mais comum \u00e9 a regress\u00e3o log\u00edstica bin\u00e1ria, na qual existem apenas dois resultados poss\u00edveis: &#8220;fracasso&#8221; ou &#8220;sucesso&#8221; ( <a href=\"https:\/\/statorials.org\/pt\/distribuicao-bernoulli\/\">distribui\u00e7\u00e3o de Bernoulli<\/a> ). \u201cFracasso\u201d \u00e9 representado pelo valor 0, enquanto \u201csucesso\u201d \u00e9 representado pelo valor 1.<\/p>\n<p> Por exemplo, a probabilidade de um aluno passar em um exame com base nas horas que passou estudando pode ser estudada por meio de um modelo de regress\u00e3o log\u00edstica.
