polinomial com muito mais rapidez. <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"ejemplo-de-un-modelo-de-regresion-polinomial\"><\/span> Exemplo de modelo de regress\u00e3o polinomial<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p> Agora que sabemos a defini\u00e7\u00e3o de regress\u00e3o polinomial e como ela \u00e9 realizada, vejamos um exemplo da vida real para compreender totalmente o conceito.<\/p>\n<p> Em primeiro lugar, deve-se ter em mente que um modelo de regress\u00e3o polinomial deve ser realizado quando o gr\u00e1fico de dados tiver o formato de uma curva polinomial. Por exemplo, se o gr\u00e1fico de pontos estiver na forma de uma curva c\u00fabica, precisamos construir um modelo de regress\u00e3o polinomial de terceiro grau.<\/p>\n<p> Ent\u00e3o, como voc\u00ea pode ver na imagem a seguir, o gr\u00e1fico de pontos dos nossos dados tem um formato quadr\u00e1tico, pois \u00e0 medida que aumentamos o valor da vari\u00e1vel independente, a vari\u00e1vel dependente cresce mais r\u00e1pido. Neste caso foi realizado um modelo de regress\u00e3o linear e como voc\u00ea pode ver ele n\u00e3o se ajusta bem aos pontos porque possui se\u00e7\u00f5es em que a linha est\u00e1 abaixo de todos os pontos e se\u00e7\u00f5es em que a linha est\u00e1 acima deles. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/statorials.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/rpol-faux.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6823\" width=\"424\" height=\"289\" srcset=\"\" sizes=\"auto, \"><\/figure>\n<p> Por outro lado, se executarmos um modelo de regress\u00e3o polinomial quadr\u00e1tica, ele se ajusta muito melhor aos dados amostrais, como voc\u00ea pode ver na imagem abaixo. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/statorials.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/exemple-de-regression-polynomiale.png\" alt=\"exemplo de regress\u00e3o polinomial\" class=\"wp-image-6824\" width=\"432\" height=\"293\" srcset=\"\" sizes=\"auto, \"><\/figure>\n<p> Al\u00e9m disso, ao desenvolver um modelo de regress\u00e3o polinomial, o coeficiente de determina\u00e7\u00e3o melhora consideravelmente, pois passa de 86,80% para 94,05%. Portanto, o novo modelo de regress\u00e3o explica muito melhor o conjunto de dados.<\/p>\n<p> Por outro lado, outra indica\u00e7\u00e3o de que precisamos realizar a regress\u00e3o polinomial \u00e9 a plotagem dos res\u00edduos.
